Default idea for fabric

I fell in love with this fabric and bought two yards but can't figure out how to use it. Years ago, a quilter said "let the fabric speak to you." Well, I've been waiting a year and haven't heard a peep out of it. It's from Elizabeth Studios, and I looked on the web site to see if there were quilts using this. No luck.

Anyone have a idea?

Lovely fabric! I might do the chevron pattern that uses rectangle pieces. If you used chevrons of your sea glass, aqua, turquoise and blue it would look like waves.

That's a wonderful idea Tartan. It would be pretty in a hexagon too.

I think I would make an Aquarium art quilt with that as the sea glass in the bottom with various fish appliqués, and all the aquarium bling. Or a I spy quilt using the sea glass fabric as the bottom for various beta fish containers with different fish in each one.

Default Idea for fabric

Why not a spinwheels block. You could use the 2 yards you have for the center. Then the colors from the pebbles of the fabric for a contrast. just an idea. If you need a picture of what I am suggesting. A quilt using this block appears in Quilter's World issue Winter 2021,page 32 by Joy Heimark. Hope this might help you.

This one in the Summer 2021 issue may interest you, with matching color fabrics.

Oooh that's pretty fabric! My mind immediately saw a beach quilt, so that's what I googled and found lots of great ideas. A color wash from light to dark or a gradual change from water to beach/sand/glass. Lots of places to go with this fabric.
You'll know what you want to do the moment you see it. Good luck!

I used it for the back of this quilt. I called it Sea Glass and sewed it together on Cape Cod. It's one of my favorite quilts.
