Another QOV done
Hello Quilters! I am often the recipient of unwanted fabrics or panels for our quilts of valor. I don’t even remember who passed this big un-square yardage on to me. I see where they had cut one emblem block out so I had 19 to work with. They were probably like me and couldn’t square it up without the frame around looking wonky. So, I cut the whole frame off. Not a spectacular quilt but it came out better than I hoped for while dealing with this mess of pillow panels, I guess you could call them. The frames weren’t even even. I think 16 1/2 inch one way and 15 the other. Anyway, I centered and squared to 12 1/2 inch and made the large half square triangles that too. Quilted Twins has a free pattern with sashing that gave me this idea but I did make this quilt top. It measures 60x84. Thank you for looking and the nice comments on my recent Bargello quilt top I made in ‘I’ve always been wanting to try this’ post.

Toogie, when do you sleep? You seem to be creating quilts almost daily!!
This one is a good example of how to solve a problem that to someone else seemed "just too much to tackle". The old adage of making lemonade from lemons applies here. Lovely to see and beautiful precise work.
