Your quilt has made me search Woven Quilts on YouTube. I saw the one Jenny Doan made but I like yours better, so I will be anxiously awaiting your tut. I watched it during the night when I couldn’t sleep because I was too exhausted and back pain. My daughter and son-in-law picked over 500 tomatoes yesterday and we canned. I was so tired I didn’t eat supper -for me not to wanna eat you gotta know I was!-lol

Time for a confession. I threw out the pattern BUT I really like how I used up so much fabric. Primted it out again to make at a later date. I don't name my quilts but if I did it would be called Naught Child. Yours is so colorful. Just love it.

I think it looks great, although I certainly hear you on patterns that try your patience!

Oh that did turn out wonderful! I so feel your pain though, I tried that pattern and ended up just making a pillow cover out of one of the few blocks that actually looked like it was supposed to. lol I'd love to see your tutorial when you have time to make it.

Wow, I love it on point and the black sashing gives your eyes a resting point. Good save. I probably would have given up. As one of my friends is fond of saying: "A pattern is just a suggestion." Making it your own is half the fun.

That quilt turned out so pretty. Sorry you had such a hard time with it but so glad that you found a solution that worked. Thanks for sharing. I would love a tutorial on it.

Ok, I wrote out the instructions for traditionally piecing the block and, for better or for worse, it is now in Tutorials.

I love how you added the black sashing around each block and put it on point. Made a whole new look to the quilt. I have this pattern on my list to use up a bunch of scraps and I may take your idea to add to it.

Great job. Bet it didn't even make a dent in your scrap pile though, did it? I find I make more scraps when I try to use up my scraps. Think they procreate during the night............little stinkers.

Thank you for taking the time to write instructions for all of us on your interpretation of this block. Love your idea!
