Talking Shouldn't sew late at night because...

Can you add to this list?
  • Only needed 5 rows to complete the quilt. Now have 6.
  • Too many matchy colors close together.
  • Printed the same pattern twice.
  • Sewed the block wrong...2 times.

Cut the pieces wrong.

Forgot to turn the iron off.

Had just enough fabric. Now I don't.

Worked so hard to get the top finished. Woke up to see one block wrong--in the middle.

Finished the last lot of chain piecing to find I ran out of bobbin thread waaaaay back there!

hmmm...I've done all those things, and I can't use "late at night" as an excuse.

Lol. I can't either. I've done them when I wasn't tired!

Rips out part of the block sewn backward and sew it backwards again.

Things seem so complicated when I'm tired, easy peasy when refreshed in the morning.

I try to not leave any mistakes late at night, I take them apart and then they are ready to work on the next morning. I find if I work too late, I either mess it up or hurt myself.

Sometimes it's better for me if I leave bad enough alone for the time being when I'm really tired or out of sorts.

Deal with it when I am better able to cope with whatever - - -

I work nights, most of my quilting is done at night. However, I have done all of the above. I just can’t blame it on working at night.
