I like the brown and would stop there. I might add a binding in blue; otherwise, I'd use brown, too. Lovely work!

I love the green border, I'd use the green and use the brown as the binding.

I like the runner as is but if you want the green, I would take off the brown. It would give the whole piece a different look. Do what pleases you.

Keep the brown border and bind it in the green. Is that a paperpieced block, it's pretty.

Oh goodness....I think I've read a split decision! I haven't tallied my results!

Now to figure it out after I run some errands.

Thanks everyone!!

I didn't read all of the posts, but I would just finish it "as is" and bind it in brown. It seems exactly right to me the way it is. If you take off the brown, it will stretch the edge and you'll have to deal with that.
(disclosure: olive green is one of my least favorite colors)

You can put my vote on the brown border side. I like how it ties in with the sashing between the blocks as well.

I love how much good advice came in with the opinions here! Good luck with finishing up this project!

I am a green person, meaning I usually like green. In this case though, the brown is a winner for me. I like it as it is. It’s a very pretty runner and after quilting and binding those waves won’t be so obvious, imho for what it’s worth. The green print seems a distraction for me from the pieced blocks. The brown allows you to fly us on the beauty of the runner.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I like the brown, but it won’t be on my table and if it’s going to irrigate you then remove it and do it the way you planned.
