Hello! I have two handicaps. I'm new to this and I'm male.

Welcome from Washington State. It's nice to have the men join us here too. Looks like you're off to a good start with your quilts. Like them both. Free Motion Quilting is not as hard as it seems once you jump in. Make a couple of small quilt sandwiches out of muslin for practice. It really helps.

Everyone has to begin somewhere and it looks like you have already taken the first steps. Now check out some of the other sites for shortcuts hints etc. Best one is to use yard sales, flea markets etc. to get gently used clothes, sheets, blankets (for batting) to save money on your hobby/therapy. If you run out of ideas to sew for make things for charity/nursing homes/etc.

Welcome from another fellow. Just because you are male, doesn't constitute a handicap and the "new" part will wear off soon enough. Glad to have you here. If you need any help or have any questions, feel free to ask. Everyone on here will be more than happy to help you out.

Hi from Oklahoma. Join us on the chat room, just click on Live Chat and see who is there. Several men and you get lots of advise, sometimes whether you want it or not. LOL
Plus, you make new quilting friends.
