It makes me want to drop everything and start a house quilt. Maybe I can get it out of my system by making just a lllooonnnggg table runner. Does anyone else notice as I have just started to today, that the teeny thumbnails on this thread actually help me get a better feel for the way colors are managed on a quilt? I didn't like having to click on thumbnails to see pictures when they first changed to that method, but now I'm seeing it as a plus. Your choice of colors on these houses gives it a very natural and interesting feel, and the light sashing (sidewalks!) pulls it all together beautifully.

Love it! My favorite quilt patterns are all scrappy!
