So we got back on Tuesday from Boston, I had the envelopes all set so I put them in mailbox around 1pm. Usually the post comes very late afternoon/early evening. Well he didn't show! So they finally went out on Wednesday! Small town mail is always interesting. Sometimes they come a deliver a package and forget the mail!
Hope your day was great BJ!
Yesterday took DH to ER because he wasn't well and chemotherapy doctor said to take him in. White count extremely low so they admitted and put him in positive private room. Doctor said that a week after chemo is the lowest and that is when he needs to be extremely careful.

TG, I’m keeping positive thoughts for your DH during this rough time. I recall my sister’s white blood count would drop precipitously following her chemo and she had to get a shot to force her bones to create WBC. It was very unpleasant. I hope they’ve come up with something better for your DH if it’s needed.

TG, hoping your hubby gets great care at the hospital and can go home soon. Praying his white blood cells will catch back up to normal.

Thank you to Barbara Kibbler and Happylab! Your packages came today!

How many are we supposed to get? I have 14 now.

I think 19, SBG.

TG -- I am very glad he has a private room. I hate that you two are going through this. Sleep will help him heal and the hospital staff has everything he needs, including you, so in between his 2 hr nurse wake-ups, he should be able to get restored. Hugs and prayers.

Happy April Fool's Day! Do something silly just for the fun of it. I used to flip flop meals for my children and they still talk about it 40 year later. (We had chicken dinner with the fixings for breakfast and breakfast for our evening meal.)

So my contribution to silliness today is I am catering in lunch for all of us. Enjoy!!

Happy April Fools’ Day all. I’m going to be spending part of the day putting a binding on a small quilt then maybe doing some sandwiching. I’m on my own this weekend so it’s just me and the pets.

WMUTeach, enjoy your special lunch!

Oh my gosh... That quilt block sandwich is too cool, WMUT! Love the idea of flip flopping meals, but I don't think I could eat a chicken dinner in the morning, LOL.

Today is my gd Ivy's birthday. She was supposed to be born March 31, but ended up not coming out on her own, and had to be an emergency C section in the wee hours of April 1. So, April 1 it was!

Hope you all have a great weekend, without too many tricks played on you!
