Hers is a straight stitch machine with narrow feed dogs. Just take this into consideration if your feed dogs are wide.

    Me three.
Although now I use the clear open toe foot for better visibility, and use the 8.6 needle setting for 1/4".

Janome 1/4 inch Seam Foot O Without Guide 202313104 I finally found one from Pocono Sew and Vac that snaps on and wasn't terrible expensive. Thought about breaking off the flange on the one I have, but as soon as I do that I may need it for something (??).
Also ordered a screw for my needle plate, as one I have now isn't the proper one and some Janome bobbins. I'll let you know how this one does when it arrives.

Isn't the one you ordered for a 9mm stitch width machine? Isn't the MC6500 a 7mm stitch width machine?

I have a Janome 8200 QC and it is a 9mm stitch machine and the foot listed above would not work.

Good catch - if you click on "all machines this will work with", the MC6500 does not show up. Only the 9mm machines do.

Be sure to check with dealer on fit for your machine. Most of the foot listings are for 9mm Janomes.
