Welcome from Texas. My first quilt was made with scissors & was hand quilted. It's actually in shreds now but I still hang on to it. I went from about 1964 to 2001 before I made my second quilt & yes, things have really changed during that time. You will find a lot of help & encouragement here & I look forward to seeing a picture of a new quilt from you soon.

Welcome from a neighbor to the north, in Minnesota. I'm glad you have found your way back to quilting. This is a very warm, welcoming site, and you will find lots of help and encouragement. Enjoy yourself!

A warm welcome from Southern California! I use to be annoyed and unhappy when I needed to do my chores, especially going through mail, making those phone calls, etc. Now I have a new philosophy: I am so lucky that I can do them! That's my new way of looking at chores. And, even without strokes or other major health issues, I need to refer back to directions again and again. I'd love to see some of your work. You're an inspiration!

Any thought to come to the Quilt Show in September 23-25th, in the 4-H Bldg at the state fairgrounds?
