Question Looking for piano key fabric

I am making my grandson a quilt for his graduation with a guitar on it & some other things and he said he liked the piano key border. Does anyone know where I could find the fabric that would work for the border? I have found piano keys but they are only about 1 1/2" wide & goes across the fabric so the border would land up having probably about 6 rows of keys for the border. I know you can make the piano keys but I really don't want to do that & besides my timeline is getting short. Any suggestions? Also, what is the website to look for lost, older fabric etc. I can't remember it. Thanks for any help!

l just did a quick search and found a bunch on Etsy. There a lot of sources listed, even Joann fabric.

You can cut your borders on the cross grain of the fabric and piano keys would be easy to piece.

Thanks Barb! I did do some more searching & some different fabrics did show up this time. I think one of them will work.

You could also make your own with black and white fabric. Just pull up a picture of a piano key board and use it as a guide or use the picture from the site shown in the post above by KalamaQuilts

Then you could make the keys as narrow or as wide as you like to fit the measurements of your quilt.

Thanks everyone for your help on finding the fabric. I did finally find some on Spoonflower that will work. Thanks too for the Missing Fabric site. I couldn't remember what it was called. I'll try & remember to post a picture of the quilt when I get it done.
