Beautiful friendship stars and border. Glad you decided to make it and share.

I like everything about your quilt. I especially like the fabrics you used and would like to know the name please. I think this would make a wonderful Quilt of valor for a woman with red/white/blues or for a man minus the rick rack flower border. I may have to figure the angle corners out-lol Thanks for showing us your pretty quilt. I think bc of the fabrics, it has a vintage appeal to me. Very nice.

Thank you for all the great comments. I washed it yesterday and one of the sides of the hexi flowers popped loose. I tried to sew them all down but I guess I missed this side. LOL
the name of the pattern is Pinwheel Flowers by Nancy Mahoney. I don’t know if it is available anywhere unless you can find the old magazine.

Beautiful quilt! Wow, she sure has had lots of quilts published in magazines. And has a page full of free patterns, but I didn’t see that one, but just looked briefly.

If you google "Quilter's Newsletter Magazine in November, 2006" you'll find a copy available at ebay and one at Amazon.
