Welcome from Ontario, Canada. Spinning block or cube could apply to many patterns. The first cube design that comes to mind would be Tumbling Blocks, another could be the cube that is sometimes inserted into a One Block Wonder quilt. Need more information.

I doubt this is the pattern that you want but maybe similar? https://www.quilterscache.com/S/Spin...heelBlock.html

My Momma did a 5-point Lone Star quilt back in the late’50’s. It is missing now and I am looking for the pattern. I do not want any pattern except the 5-point Lone Star. If you have this pattern please let me know. I would like to replace Momma’s quilt.

My3boys1girl, I did a google search for "lone star quilt patterns" and found this site to help you track your mom's pattern: https://ilovequiltingforever.com/bes...quilt-pattern/
Good luck finding a pattern to match the one to replace the lost one.

Missouri Star has a spinning cube pattern. Is this the one you are looking for? https://www.missouriquiltco.com/prod...-missouri-star
I did a google search for "spinning cube pattern" Lots of pictures came up, too. Those images may help you to track down the specific pattern you need.

You would probably get more responses but starting your own thread rather than tacking on to someone else's.
