Beautiful! Yes, these are addictive. Check out the work of Bethany Reynolds for more inspiration.

I can't find your error, either.

Well done! I am currently working on 2 kaleidoscope quilts. I didn't know about stack-n-whack when I first started these. I saw a picture on a magazine cover and just made my own pattern with a protractor! I would cut out the eight pieces needed individually--which made those quilts very time consuming! Stacking the fabric is the most favorite thing I have learned on this board! https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...8-blue-kq2.jpg This is one of the first quilts that I made before learning to stack!!

You cut them out...individually? (squeak!) That would be VERY time consuming - I could not imagine doing it that way. Wow!

I think I caught the mistake, but maybe not and t doesn't really matter so much because your fabric selection is so wonderful. I think some quilters choose too small a repeat to get the glorious color shifts you did -- but maybe that's what they wanted to do. I really like your leaving some of the fabric whole in the border.

Good job!

Did you say quick? Beautiful runner! I like the size of your project when trying a new technique.

It was quick, about 3 hours from start to finish (with a couple of rheumatoid arthritis breaks during the making of it).
