Default 9” Swoon block

I can’t find directions online for a 9” Swoon block! Any help out there?

Never heard of that block so had to go looking. Check out fat quarter shop….looks like there’s a YouTube video.

The swoon design falls naturally into a size that's divisible by 8. A 9" block would require measurements that are very difficult to cut. Most swoon blocks are on the larger size - 16" or 24".

I think Swoonn is just a new name for the Carpenter's Wheel block, try looking for that. But Dunster is right ab out the math.

Directions are the same no matter the size. I suspect what you're asking for are the cutting measurements.

I echo the statements here about 9" being a difficult size. If you absolutely HAVE to have a 9" block, I think the only way to do it is to put it into EQ, change the size to 9", and print templates, because they are going to be weird, like triangles at 3 & 5/16ths of an inch.

Honestly, I would just use the mini Swoon pattern which is an 8" block.

borders around blocks are great for making them "fit".
