Love that rainbow log cabin! I've been sorting through my scrap boxes and am thinking I might be able to do something similar with some of the narrower strips I have. What was your block size? Thanks for the inspiration!

The rainbow log cabin blocks I made were all 6.5" unfinished. I just put together a small (36") quilt top made of only neutral strips - it looks really nice. Will post a photo when I get finished.

Mkotch, great finish, very pretty.

I will have 3-4 UFO’s completed by end of month. All I need to do is sew binding on them this weekend.

have a great weekend everyone.

When I have bits of leftover fabric I make 4.5" half square triangles. 1.5 years ago I put together these "Depression blocks" (16" - there are 4 in each quilt top). This weekend I threw borders on. Cute little scrappy happy for project Linus. Unfortunately because we are painting the quilting room my longarm is currently hiding under drop cloth. But it will get finished soon...

Love those HSTs, Rff. I make piles of them too and put them in a simple barn raising pattern and away I go. Fell in love with the HST ever so long ago and just can't resist making more. Lovely PL options.

Hello all. I just joined the boards and have plenty of UFO's. It's going to be a couple weeks most likely before I can post anything, as I won't be able to work on quilting for a bit. I'm excited to have you all here and hope the accountability will keep me going and focused. I have too many UFO's to list. The first ones I want to work on:

1) Boggle quilt-for a friend. Her favorite game is boggle, so I made a quilt to look like a boggle board and it has her and her hubby's and kids names hidden. I'll post a pic, maybe you can find her name, Jennifer. The flimsy is done. I need to make the sandwich, quilt, and bind it.

2) In memory of my grandma quilt- a 100 block sampler where I've used fabrics that remind me of my grandma. I have a little over 50 blocks done.

3)A wanna be and very, very simplified quilt based on Jane Austen's coverlet. It uses a panel and I've never used a quilt panel.

Anchoredhope, you have a plan and that will help. Just keep pressing through the days, the weeks and keep nudging the projects toward the finish line. It isn't a race but the act of moving ahead that will move the UFOs out the door or at least off our list before you know it.

Those are some ambitious goals but really meaningful quilts - I'm sure you will enjoy the journey to completing them!
