One more thing --in consideration of anyone in the group that may have allergies, please let us know if your critters have access to your sewing room. Try to not use aromatic soaps if you prewash your fabrics to keep those allergies away, too. You are welcome to include that kind of info on your manifest if you want to.
I have a dog and cat in the house but neither have access to my quilting set up. I pre-wash fabrics with an unscented soap so in theory, allergies will not be triggered when my bag is opened. That being said, pet dander could circulate through the air so please be careful with the flimsy you get from me if you have critter allergies. I will be putting everything into a zip lock bag so you can open the package outside and let it air out if you need to do that to prevent an allergy attack!
And I will add this note to my manifest just to be on the safe side.
Thank you, everyone!

I will be there for the meeting.
Is anyone else having difficulty choosing what they are doing for their center? I keep getting caught up between keeping it simple or doing something more complex. Simple sounds nice but I usually go with something that at least looks complex. So unlike me to be indecisive, hopefully it is not a trend for this particular project 😂.

I am going scrappy for my start. I want to include as many colors as possible for my Mardi Gras theme so you all can be free to do what you are inspired to do. What I haven't decided yet is how abstract I am going to make my starter block. I have all these beautiful candies thanks to the QB Birthday gang. It is time to put them to work!

Glad you mentioned that Ibex. I don’t normally prewash but of course all my hand dyed fabric is washed. I will wash everything I use for group consistency. I have never had any problems mixing the two but would hate to have something happen to anyone else’s quilt.

Saturday is good. Will we be recording...just in case?
No allergies here, and no pets, but I may be using leftover pre-cuts...so no washing and that may mean a bit of stinky sizing. I'll do the zip loc thing too.
I'm on the same page as you are, Yiayia...I just can't decide.
And, I'm trying to make sure this starter is cut-up-able
Not something I've ever considered important in a design...

Looks like CJoyce and Yiaya are on the Eastern time zone, while Ibex94 is Central time, and us remaining three are Pacific. Nice mix!
