Beautiful blocks, Sewbiz.

When I hand sew binding I use wonder clips and they work great for it. I don't mind hand sewing while I watch a game or movie. I may hand quilt my Kaffe Fassett seed packet quilt, maybe even big stitch. Haven't decided yet.

Here's the table runner I was b*$^&%*(# and moaning about ripping out all the FMQ from. I do like it now! It's for my middle son and his family. The fabric is Christmas Eve by Lella Boutique.

Susie, your table runner is beautiful right down to the peppermint stripe binding! Your son and his family are going to love it.

SBG, love that batik dragon fabric, it was worth the wait!

Thank you, Cheese!

Susie, your runner turned out great! Glad it wasn't a whole quilt you had to rip out.

My last two are for SewBiz and Libster
I had made some hexies to take with me on my recent trip and when I returned I had to make that beautiful fabric into a few hexie flowers.
Libster I wanted light and airy and hope it works well with the others.

Now to clean. So many pieces of paper and fabric and threads all over. Oh my!

Pretty blocks, TG! Love the hexies!

Spent some time at a LQS this afternoon. I was able to get lots of small pieces, scraps really, of pinks, greens and whites that I currently need. I’m pp’ing Bonnie Hunter’s Morning Glories, trying to make it as scrappy as possible. Spent under $15 and came away with a couple of yards of scraps. Call me thrilled!

Have a good weekend.

Thanks for my hexie block, TG! I wonder how you were able to cut so many out of a F8th... Love it!

Yay, Hav is back! Love my Day and Night block, Hav. Thank you!

Thank you, Have 4. Stars and stripes block is lovely. Another for the collection of starts. Love stars and I didn't even ask for stars.

I am busy stitching away at my quilt group's retreat. Hope to be finishing my Birthday Swap Quilt from last year and a baby quilt for a friend of my daughter. Well that is the plan any way. A good weekend to be hiding inside with friends, listening to the hum of sewing machines, and the chatter of 29 sewing friends. Rain, rain and more rain and upper 40's to low 50's tomorrow. Looking to be back to Boom blocks late next week during the university fall break. Fingers crossed to finish most.
