For details I hand appliqued each of the tree branches, which are tiny dresden blades, and then used foundation paper piecing to create the snow globe. There are white glass seed beads in the snowflake background fabric and the base and around the globe are hand quilted. I tried a flange binding with this one, adding a bit of red to the project. Finally, a bow at the top of the tree, which I will safety pin on in case the new owner wishes to change the tree topper. Hope all are well. Looking forward to seeing what everyone has made.

It's a pattern by Sandy Gervais, "Pieces from my Heart". I bought a bag of patterns at the thrift store and it was one of them. I couldn't resist.
