Boom 30 - Autumn

Great finish, duckling! I love what you did with Reba's fabric. And yay, you found some dragon fabric!
If I've been reading correctly, I think all of our packages are now mailed. Great job, everyone, finishing up and mailing in time! Soon we will have quilts.
Tissue in the wash...ugh. My mom used to tuck kleenex into her cuffs, pockets, everywhere. So I get mad when I find I've left one in my pocket and washed it! So annoying and hard to clean up.
I'm having a hard time getting a sewing mojo going. I think because I pushed myself making quilts for Maui and then for the show in Memphis, and now I am just burned out. I have some great books to read, by Jonathan Cahn, so I guess I'll be reading in the mean time. Hope my mojo comes back soon!
After 4 months of drought, we got a fabulous 13-hour soaking RAIN! So thankful. It stopped raining here right after the 4th of July, for some reason. Never experienced drought this long before. Unfortunately, many trees and shrubs have died, which is sad. Some are beyond recovering, even with the new rain. We tend to take rain for granted, but I never will again (I hope).
Enjoy your day!

I was waiting on the final package to be mailed but just got confirmation on USPS.com that something is on the way from WMUTeach’s hometown. I think all the remaining three are now in the mail. Let’s see how quickly they all arrive!

Hi quilters!
Sorry I've been so out of touch. I have finished creating all the blocks. Janice should receive the bundle on Friday. Unfortunately I may not have saved photos of all the blocks I sewed. SORRY!!! I thought I had taken shots of all of them (and some were very cute! ) but now I can't find them. Ouch.
Here are a few of the photos I do have.
WMU, Hav4Boys, LStew, I hope you enjoy these blocks.

SewBizGirl, audio books are my go-to. They certainly take my mind off boring laundry and dishwashing. What genre do you prefer? Detective mysteries and occasional romances let me set my mind adrift.

Rebaquilts, These two are for you. One of them I'm calling Impatience Corners, because the sizing turned out wrong and I had to piece it! The other with the vintage Simplicity patterns shows old evening gowns like my mom wore for celebrations. She sewed all her gowns. I hope you can use them.

Reba gorgeous quilt and sorry about your friend’s kitty.
Duckling great finish!
Had an experience I can laugh about now. I washed a load of darks that I had separated out the night before. When I opened the washer t(e clothes were completely covered in shredded paper. I mean completely and thickly covered. Not panicked yet, just thought rewash them. To make a long story short we found our we were missing our Texan monthly news paper so that fell into my basket somehow and to get rid of the lint I had to wash and dry each item separately to get the lint off. Everything but my black knit shorts ended up being ok. What a mess!
