2023 - Birthday Candy Swap (2.5" squares)
#1311
We will miss you LAF2019. I will save a place for you for 2025's Birthday Swap.
BTW I got the official OK to post the swap again early this morning. So we are off to pick out fabrics, for swapping and envelops for mailing.

What a wonderful gallery show, Pet. Thank you, I particularly like the first quilt where you used a consistent lighter print fabric for the zig and the 2.5's as the zags. It emphasizes the rail fence look and lets us follow the path of the pattern. Well done and thanks again for the share.

Best of luck Laf2019 in your house hunting. I don't envy you especially this time of year.
I should be able to do 2024, need to go thru stash to see if I would have enough. Really only trying to use up stash before buying extras.

I am ready for 2024. I can’t believe it. Had time this month and needed to sort through and cut down a pile of pieces so I just went ahead and got 20 piles of 50 ready to go.
Will miss those who chose to take a year off because I know you will be back!!

Absolutely, Gannyrosie, always from stash. You can slip in some neutrals or different white on white's or the like to finish up your 50 different squares.
I went on a quick snoop and you can cut 56 - 2.5's from a fat quarter and 24-2.5's from a fat eighth.
That may give you some ideas of how much fab you need to join us again next year.

Same here. This was my first year and I'm hopeful I don't make that mistake either. This has been fun, seeing all of the projects made from the candies. Hugs!
