Happy Blessed Day!
took my DD, SIL and 9yo granddaughter to glass blowing. This is the second family group we took and we all had so much fun.
packing up motorhome to get ready to move to MD/PA border to help DD after her surgery next week. It’s 22• here and going in and out of house isn’t easy. One small step at a time!!
I am looking forward to seeing my squares “mindlessly” while we camp!!

It’s the season for Christmas ornament storage containers. Might be just the size to organize candies.

Good idea, Pet. I am sure I have seen that before but never actually put one in my cart.

I was hoping I'd be joining in again for the next year, but I'm still not settled so will sit another year out. Now that I'm retired, I've been working on completing some candy quilts, here are a few of them that used 2.5" squares. Many years ago I had got the idea to cut up scraps so I had a lot of 2.5" squares in the same fabric along with what I got from the swaps. I had inherited a GFG partially done quilt my Mom started for my sister. I finished it up but converted it to setting triangles (or it might be another 30 years before it got done!) and was able to cut up all the remaining blue and green hexies into 2.5" squares and used them for the Rose quilt.

Wow, these are so impressive Macy. I especially love the yellow rose. That is fantastic. Was that from a pattern? Hugs!

that rose is "Yellow Rose of Texas" and there is a free download of the pattern available. I used assorted yellows sorted into shades for the Rose.
