Another tile finished #14 This required a few color change modifications, didn't matter what I did the tigers looked red -orange so I had to change the colors on the fly, I had to write down what I changed (6) and record it next to color that was registering on the machine. This is because the Tigers blend in to next tile .A problem like this can keep you on your toes and could be a nauseating mistake to redo the tile again if you are not on top the color changes .With such large stitch counts really don't want to be redoing them

Tile #15, well there's five to go, these will be the lower row and I'll be able to stitch it together, hope to have them finished by the end of next week. Sorting out what I will be doing with the back panel, probably go with a 4 inch square Australian indigenous patchwork.

This is the theme I'm using for the back of the Noah's Ark wall hanging. I though about what I may do with the project when finished. It will be a wall hanging but I may just use it as a throw in one of our living area's as the house has 3 living rooms, so a double sided theme seemed appropriate . There are about 80 x 5" squares less the seam allowance.I think there are 140 patterns available in these Aboriginal prints. These pics are just a lay out to see the effect.

This it all stitched together. It needs a good hot press to smooth it out. There is a lot of applique in each panel and makes it very stiff. The next thing is to assemble the rear

Wow! You really have the knack for assembling these tiling scenes. That's a great idea about being careful to keep track of any color changes.

Hey. Back at the Noah's Ark to finish the back and binding.I'm using a Janome program called Acufil to do the stippling, as it has it's own hoop and program. The hoop has a steel insert and the quilt back just floats on the top and is held in place with magnets.I'm using a scroll pattern on this back, I can use any pattern but the one's that come with the program are sufficient for my needs

It's stunning! Is it heavy? What is the final size?
