    Default Oklee Quilting Supply

Hi Everyone! -- I came across this website while looking for batting for our church quilting group. They are located in Oklee, MN. There are not many details on this batting. The quantity for the price seems almost too good to be true. Does anyone have experience with this store? Thanks for your help!

Here is the link: 55 yds of 60 wide Econo Batting (okleequiltinginc.com)

Could you ask them for a sample? It might not be bonded or needle punched, it doesn't say. You'd have to piece it together for any quilt bigger than a throw.

i wouldn't call it an exceptional deal but it does seem like an about-average price.
if the shipping is reasonable and you make mostly lap quilts it's worth considering.

It is bonded, see below the photo where it says ...
"6.0 oz, 100% polyester bonded batting"

CMK ... Check the 6 oz. to other battings, as I am not sure how that compares to other brands.

If you click on the search box on the upper right of the page
then on the arrow next to "Threads" and click on "Posts"
then type oklee in the box you will find several posts that mention it used for mission quilts, as the size is the standard width for Lutheran World Relief quilt.

I looked up on bbb.org, while they are not a member they have an A+ rating and have been in business for 36 years.

Polyester and 60" wide. That is why it is not expensive.
