Janice, glad you are feeling better! Thanks for uploading all of our blocks posted while you were under the weather.

The ballet may be fine. Four is a good age for introduction to a ballet. My granddaughter Ivy saw ballets when she was 3 and 4 and loved every minute. I bet your GD will too, especially if they are a theme she would recognize... like Cinderella or Nutcracker. My parents took me to Swan Lake when I was about 5 or 6 and I slept through most of it. It was boring! There is nothing wrong with leaving early too, if her attention wanes. Have fun!

Lstew, hope your hubby has the vertigo under control. I had to be hospitalized the first time I experienced it. (Couldn't stop vomiting and my eyes were doing a rapid side to side movement I couldn't control). We thought I might be having a stroke. I hate vertigo. Hope your hubby is over it.

The weather is so lovely today! I will enjoy being out with my doggie, walking. Gotta get to it!

Janice, your Beacon Lights inspired me to make one for myself to include in my last Boom blocks to make 20. Thanks!

Like the beacon light block. It worked so well with the swirling of the focus fabric LIbster sent. Will need to search for that pattern.

I made it to Memphis. It wasn’t a bad drive today.

Thank you for my Santa block, Terri! I love it. I was wondering who got the last piece of Santa…. Take a look at your pretty block for Cheese. I see a corner that needs turning. It’s so easy to get those units turned around between the table and the sewing machine.

Hav, love your blocks too. Really great spiky points! Do you use a magnetic seam guide to get such nice straight seams? I have one and for me, it really makes a difference.

The pattern I used was in the Around the Block Again book by Judy Hopkins. Happy you like the block!
