Tomorrow, again, he’s got a project to do with our son so I’ll have time to cut the flannel up into squares before he gets back. Then I can put it together easily in a few mornings as I’m always up at least two hours before him. Woo hoo. Piece of cake!

Found eggs in the bird house. Mama is staying on top of them in this cool weather except when I went near the house. Momma Bluebird darted out so I took a quick peek and was happily surprised at 5 eggs!

Anyone else working on something besides Boom blocks? I’m about to put in some time on my 3-1/2inch blocks. Enjoy the evening.

SusieQOH, how’s hubby doing?
I am working on a pair of socks, Knitting them.

5 bluebird eggs! How fun to see them hatch and grow.

I have been working on the mystery quilt that my local guild does every year. Lots of small pieces, like a Bonnie Hunter quilt, but so far it's looking pretty. Below is a photo of my progress.

I also got out all my shirt fabrics and started cutting out a quilt I want to make. It's a lot of cutting. The quilt is from an old Leisure Arts Scrap Quilting book I have had forever. It was time to make something from all those shirts.

Awesome block for Janice, Lstew! And awesome sock! I knit socks too. My preferred method is 5 short dpns. There are so many ways to knit them. Yours are going to be beautiful.

Thank you, Lstew, for the wonderful block!!! All those points at the center must have been tricky!

I’ve got a couple of dozen deboned shirts but I’ve done nothing with them! One day.

I never tried knitting socks but my mom used to. She said she loved turning the heel. It was her favorite part of sock making. Wish I’d asked her to teach me.

I have a love-hate relationship with knitting socks. I get started, and then I realize how long it's going to take me.... and then they go back in the knitting container I have and I never see them again. LOL

Ltsew wonderful blocks, what is the name of the block you made for Janice?

Knitting is not for me, I am in awe of those who can knit.

Went to our last dance last night. Just the two of us but still had a great time. Sure going to miss all the music when we head home.

I have my boom blocks from our last boom all put together just need to add a 2” border to the sides. Will take it home to finish it.
