WMUTeach, so funny you found more candy squares. See, they do multiply when you aren’t looking! Looks like the eclipse will be a washout here. I’ll watch it on tv if need be.

SusieQOH, hope your hubby is improving. I’m keeping you both in my thoughts.

Have a pleasant weekend.

I am a firm believer that 2.5" squares are like mushrooms. They grow and multiply in the dark!

Hi everyone, well, my dad is no longer in hospice. He passed at 4 am on 4/4/24. Lots of 4's. There is such a hole when you're done caregiving. I'm staring at my leftover candies from after making packages and thinking, now I have time to do something with them. Mindless sewing would be good. I think there are some candy 9-patches in my future.

So very sorry for your loss, Pam! There are no words, really, to comfort someone who's lost a loved one. Hope the mindless sewing will help you as you grieve. My prayers for peace for your family are going up now. Big (((hugs))) to you!

Pamelor, you have my sincere condolences on the death of your father. I hope you will find comfort in the coming days and weeks in your mindless sewing and cutting. Take comfort where ever you find it. Hugs.

Pamelor, I am so sorry that you have lost your father. It breaks our heart when some one so closes passes and I am sure yours is broken too. Rest, relax and care for yourself and if the means mindless sewing, stitch away until you establish a new routine to your days. Thinking of you especially in the next few days. Prayers for you and your family.

SusieQ, hope hubby is feeling better soon

Pamelor so sorry for the passing of your father. Losing a parent is heartbreaking

Totally overcast here, doubt we will be able to see the eclipse.

Pam, I'm so sorry you lost your Dad. Ugh,no words here. Mindless sewing sounds like a great idea.

I sent the April birthday girls packages out this morning. My sweet Mom was born in April and I love that month.

Paul is home and doing well. He's had a tough couple of months. I'm so glad I'm an RN. It sure comes in handy. Thanks for all of you thinking of me. I'm a mess when he's sick. I get really scared and I hate being that way.
