Here is a block for WMUtech. I designed it in EQ8. Hope you like it.

Knitting is not for me, I am in awe of those who can knit.

Went to our last dance last night. Just the two of us but still had a great time. Sure going to miss all the music when we head home.

I have my boom blocks from our last boom all put together just need to add a 2” border to the sides. Will take it home to finish it.
It is called Giant Stars from Quilters Cache website

You fold the piece back along the sewing line and then sew just a hair to the side of it, not through it. Then you have no paper to peel and no distortion in your stitches from sewing through the paper and then tearing it out. You can use your pattern several times before it wears out, too. It's the only way to fly! (for me).

Ive been looking at Juki sergers online, and there's one that doesn't completely break the bank, that has "air assisted" threading. So cool! You just stick the thread ends into feeder holes, and then press the AIR button, and--whoosh!-- the machine threads the loopers with air. I hope to be able to see it in person at the quilt show tomorrow.

I've decided to take my Juki domestic in to the repairman one more time. Maybe I can get a few more years out of it before I have to replace it. It will be gone for a week, so in the mean time I'll continue quilting all my tops.

Speaking of which... Here is my finished bird quilt from Boom 30. It turned out so lovely (THANK YOU, all!) that I think I'm going to give it as a wedding present on 4/21. It's only a throw size, but it's still outstanding.
Beautiful quilt, I love it.

I also love the beautiful blocks posted since the weekend.

I saw the eclipse about 97%of the sun was covered in my part of Pennsylvania. Still an awesome sight to behold.

Macy, so glad you had a safe and uneventful trip. traveling with big fish, Oh my.

Reba, looks like you ladies are having so much fun.

As far as PP, I love to make the PP blocks but I waste a good bit of fabric as I am not so good at the process. But I keep trying.

It's going to be a cold and wet weekend up here for me. I only have three more blocks to finish.

Sewbiz, love your bird quilt. I seem to be constantly sniffling and sneezing for the last week now. I can't decide if it is allergies or a cold. Whichever, not fun. Hoping next week goes better for me. Everybody's blocks are looking so good.

Libster, feel better soon. We’ve got the same here…allergies or cold? I’m doing what my mother and grandmothers did, tucking tissues in all pockets and sleeves! I have to laugh at myself.

I bought small handkerchiefs and have them in all my coat pockets, purses, car, etc.
April starts allergy season. But no matter, my nose is running!

I also have a constant dripping nose from allergies. Got tired of going through boxes of Kleenex and bought some hankies also. In Texas my shirts are sleeveless and my shorts don’t have pockets. Where to put my hankies or Kleenex? I tuck them in my bra! Just like grandma did.
