Default Another Singer for my small collection

I am now the proud owner of a Singer 12K. I have been looking for a nice fiddlebase for years now and I found one, well really my sister found her while visiting a neighbor. According to her serial number, she dates from 1881. She's in good shape for being 144 years old. Her decals look good too. I do need to clean her a bit, there is still some grime lurking on her base. The case isn't a bentwood case but a box that slides across the base with a hinged door. She's really sweet and I'm acting like a kid at Christmas ...........

I have three of those that hubby gave me. They are stunning and sew beautifully! I keep mine mostly for display, so I don't rub off the decals. I love that machines made then were built to last with wonderful engineering. A few drops of oil, and they will be sewing centuries from now. Enjoy your beautiful "new" machine! She's gorgeous!

Thanks everyone for all the complements. When my sister told me about her neighbor having to reduce her mother's collection I wasn't expecting to see a fiddlebase 12K (and in such great condition), so I jumped on that one. There was also a 221 featherweight but my sister claimed that one and my hubby kept looking at me shaking his head ........... one more machine was enough for him. But honestly, I only own 3 machines. The youngest being my 1982 Elna 500 electronic (Fanny's a workhorse), then I have a 1950 Singer 99 and now my 1881 12K fiddlebase (Tillie's her name now) I've been watching some Youtube videos and plan on taking her apart and cleaning her insides.
