Love it! Gotta make one! How will you bind it? Do you consider if the fabrics are machine washable when you make a quilt like this?

okay, everyone, let's see...no batting, using flannel for the backing, probably binding in flannel also... And, it's NOT that hard to do, you just got to make up your mind and don't let the fact that it is made out of satin to intimidate you, really... there's no grain of the fabric, yes it's slippery to work with but you use tiny straight pins or the bigger ones if you want to, because you are going to cover it with embroidery stitches anyways.. I have more squares to add to this, but they need more fancy stiches first. any more questions that I can help you with, just give me a holler, okay? and, NO, it can't be machine washed and dried, but it is more of a "pretty"quilt...

Any hints you could give about working with the satins? How do you keep the raveling edges under control?
Your quilt is amazing. Just another project I have collected fabrics for and haven't gotten to yet!!I hope I live long enough to do all the quilts in my "want to" list!!!
