May I ask where you send your kitty quilts to in Californa? If near me I'd like to do some to donate.

cfuzzy.... the first batch of 14 I sent to Small Animal Disaster Shelter...2279 Del Oro...Oroville, CA 95965
Here is another organization in CA asking for Kennel Quilt donations...Butte Humane Society...13391 Garner Lane, Chico, CA 95973.
With the east coast being hit with hurricane's and floods I also have an address in South Carolina, and one in Georgia if anyone is interested.
All addresses came directly from the Kennel Quilts website.
    Thanks for your help!

Thank you for that info Linda. Having experienced a wildfire first hand, I know how important this work for animals
is. We had a safe place to go to with our pets but many people didn't and the two shelters took them in until the owners
found shelter again. A quilt like this would be of comfort to pets suddenly in a strange place. Thank you for sharing
    your beautiful quilts and information.

As to date, I have donated 26 Kennel Quilts for Cats, the last 12 were sent to Florida because of the hurricans. This morning was a sleepless time for me...up at 1:15 and started sewing again. Another 6 or 7 made except for the quilting on them. This hasn't even put a dent in all my fabric...I'll keep going as long as I can. Thank you to everyone for all your kind messages.
