    Not weird at all.

Hubby came across what he deems as being the world's finest Henley's, and he bought a dozen, selecting three Henley's in each of the four colours offered.

I do this with bar soap.

I use Pears for oily skin, so buy-up enough to last me throuigh the year.

There's nothing quite like having a backup on-hand when something or another runs out.

I have a spare of most things. There is a small clipboard on the wall in my pantry and when I remove the “spare” then I add it to the list. No hurry to replace it.
During Covid, DH didn’t think I was stockpiling enough paper products and soap ( of all kinds )so he appointed himself as buyer, and to this day he makes sure supply is replenished. There’s a lot in storage downstairs. He got shook up, I did not.

All of the above......we have a ways to drive so I do stock up on just about everything.
I also hate running out of patience ))

well no - it is available in convenience stores single roll at least around here. Two of anything doesn't seem excessive. We have room to store Costco packs of things and many costcos to choose from so for us it is t an issue. I don't store a lot of things only because I like to go to a grocery store every day or so. I like to get out and walk around. I have no ailments to preclude that.

We have always "stocked up". Initially, when the boys started out on their own, there were many trips home to "grab something". If it's in the pantry, or basement storage area, it's fair game. Now, the only time they grab something is if they are here, and need something and don't want to stop on the way home. We also have our 3 season cabin, so we need refills on all the basics there too. As long as it goes on "the list" I don't care what they take.

My DH is the designated shopper since COVID - also, I don't have the strength to do a full week of groceries and come home and put them away. DH sticks to a list so that saves money. I hate to admit, not only do I stock up more than he does, I am an impulse buyer. It's amazing how often how cookies or cupcakes leap off the shelf and into my cart. And at Costco so much more items can leap into the cart if you are not quick. So I will tell him as we run low or out of things and he puts it on a list.
