    These must be 5 inch blocks to finish at 65 square. Wow! It looks great .

    What a wonderful quilt for fall...the colors are perfect. I'm another Kim Diehl fan and may have to check this pattern out.

    Oh I agree. That is a very pretty quilt, and the fabrics look terrific together. I know how to make one of those blocks (one of my favorite) but not sure how difficult the circular one would be. Can you comment?

    it's basically a stitch and flip. Take a 3 in square of print fabric, then a 1.5 in background fabric and sew on opposite corners. Then you take 4 of these blocks and sew together to make the snowball variation block. Hope that makes sense.
