just been reading the reviews on the ozone generators, I wonder if That is what smell is left in the thrift store clothes? You are supposed to leave room/building when in use, sounds toxic to my damaged lungs. so those of you that have used a home one, does it leave items unscented or differently scented?

That's an understandable concern, Sharyn. You do need to leave the room while the ozone generator works, then after turning off the unit, air the unoccupied room out by leaving windows and/or doors open for a few hours. After that, there will be no residual odor, and it does not leave scent on objects in the room.
