    Default Dumbo Quilt

I found a yard of this Dumbo fabric at the thrift store. I thought it was actually vintage fabric since Dumbo is from 1941. As it turns out the selvage said 2019, but it doesn't really matter right? Anyway, I thought it would make a good border so decided on just using coordinating solids for the blocks. The pattern was called "Sunrise Stars", which was a free pattern from allpeoplequilt.com. I just did a straightline grid for the quilting on my DSM. Thanks for looking.

Oh I love elephants, almost as much as I do cats and dogs. They are wonderful animals. Lovely quilt.

That was a great pattern choice. The quilt is so cute! What a sweet Dumbo fabric you found. Do you have a recipient in mind, or is this one for you?

How wonderful that you found that Dumbo fabric....I would have wrestled you for that one! Love, how you put the quilt together using it, very unique. Some child will be very lucky to have it.
