Your father sounds like a wonderful person. My father also served in WWII and he too was always interested in others.... I think it is something that came to them during the war.... that everyone has a story! Sadly my father passed when I was quite you and I still miss him every day. I am so glad that you had your dad for such a long time.

I don't think so Sue. I'm in the secret Santa and ornament swap and posting out this week. My SS is in Canada too. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas. I miss Carolines swaps too.

Darn it! Was hoping I had just missed an notice about it! Hope all is well with Caroline and everyone else!

Christmas??? Oh my gosh, haven't even thought that far! lol I"m still piecing the Mystery Quilt (Bonnie Hunter) from last year (I set it aside & shouldn't have done that!!) Instead I ordered the pattern for My Kinda Town by Laura Heine and have been working on that with 2 other friends. Love this pattern - it's FPP, my favorite). But now, Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt for this year is ready to be released and I have a dilemma. I usually challenge myself not to start a new one until at least the piecing is done on previous year's quilt. I may have to negotiate a new contract with myself!
