Remember the acrostics we made about Christmas? I got brave and opened a parcel and guess what - it is goodies from Hav4Boys!! I honestly thought it was my package from santa but then another one arrived that said it was from santa. So then I thought - yikes, I've been assigned two santas! Then I remembered about the poems and thought, hmm, maybe... There is nothing to indicate it's from santa so my guess must be right (plus the return location matches).

Many, many thanks for the mug rug templates and pattern. Mug rugs for Christmas gifts will now solve a couple of gift ideas. Here's a picture. And just think - I get to open another package very soon!!

Getting a little excited about opening day (Dec 7th). Need a little sunshine in my day.

Hubby came home from hospital, but he is still having trouble and is sick. We are doing several rounds of antibiotics and other meds. He is not totally out of the woods yet but is getting better. Anything and everything he used to do is now my chore.

I just mailed out all my Christmas gifts to all the out of town folks. All in town are wrapped and waiting for Christmas Eve. I had to cut way back on Christmas gifts I was making and opted out for gift cards. All projects started will just have to wait for next year some time.

I love reading the blog in my spare time. See lots of happy entries where pkgs were delivered. Looks like some of us are harried for time to get everything done in our lives. Also, lots of life events happening. Just hope everyone stays safe and pulls thru any and all events. We should have a happy opening day. Thanks for reading.

Not everyone is posting whether or not they have received their package. If you have gotten it, please let us know if you haven't said anything already.

I am sad. My package is up in Mississippi and my job needs me down in New Orleans this weekend. I don't get to open my box on Dec 7. WAH!!!

I don't get to open mine either but I'll be looking at everything tomorrow. I heard from my DIL who is collecting my mail and nothing arrived this week.

Anyone open their package already or is there a certain time? I am on the West Coast.

No specific time that I am aware of. Anytime you want on Dec 7 sounds good to me but I haven't done this for a few years so I am not certain if the rules have changed. Don't count on my opinion for this question.

I am sorry you don't have your package to open. I am hopeful it will be waiting for you when you get home. My elf has still not posted that it is received despite the certification saying someone accepted it. I sure hope someone at her house signed for it and is hiding it from her. I'll find out soon. It is almost the 7th in my part of the world. :-)

Keep in mind that Canada Post workers are on strike so no mail has been moving in Canada for weeks. It may be that your Santa is from the true north so your package will arrive closer to Christmas. Because honestly, they can't be on strike for THAT long can they!
