I opened my package and my Santa was @quiltingdragon , who sent me so many wonderful and thoughtful items, each lovingly wrapped:
- fantastic funky fun fabrics in blues, greens, and teals! I can’t wait to play with these.
- chocolate and gingerbreads (already checked for quality) ;-D and a candy cane
- #2 holiday themed pencils (I use these for marking the back of my HSTs and such, does anyone else use plain ole pencil on light fabrics?)
- holiday household decor: matching towel, hotpads, and oven mitt, gnome, and a door knob decor
- two! Patterns I am excited to use. I do enjoy thinking up my own or finding things online, but a printed pattern to follow is nice when I just want to follow instructions and sew.
- fuzzy warm socks
- a bias tape maker
- a new spool of cotton thread
- a swatch buddy. I’m super excited about this gadget. I live fairly remote and do most of my fabric ordering online, but poor color match is always a risk. When I do find myself in the cities on other business I often would like to stop by a fabric store to look at fabric needed for a few projects, but I don’t have the fabric on hand to match to. I am planning to load this up with the ones I need to find matches for and keep it in the glove box. Then when I find something second hand I think may work or if I happen upon a fabric store I can ensure a good match! This is much more certain to not be tossed out in a car cleanup than a baggie of fabric scraps *side eye partner*
thank you for your generosity and kindness @quiltingdragon . You put a lot of consideration and time into this and it is dearly appreciated during a hard time. I am in the blue fuzzy socks sipping a tea, nibbling a gingerbread by the tree. Merry Christmas!

@QuiltingPandaBear , so glad you liked everything! I may or may not have bought half yards so I got the same fabrics
Georgia at the Quilted Fox helped me pick out the fabrics and thread and gave me ideas on what gadget to buy. Merry Christmas!

I’m sorry I haven’t opened mine yet. My dad is in the ER because of Parkinson’s psychosis and we were there for over 11 hours yesterday and we’re going back today because they’re keeping in. I’d like to open my secret Santa box when I’m not under so much stress, if that’s okay with my secret Santa.

Good Morning, my daughter's Secret Santa was Rumbols. She received a chicken measuring tape (she was really excited about this one), 2 fabric markers/pens, quilt block pattern, Kimberbell card game, several types of needles, tea, needle threader, large and small spools of blue thread, two sets of fat quarters, scissors, pins, little sewing theme coin bag, handcrafted needle keeper, magnetic seam guide, handmade tea cozy, large package of Oreos, thread keepers and her favorite British candy, Squashies. Crystal says you did get the right ones!
Crystal says thank you so much
