@Darcyshannon was my secret pal! Thankfully she messaged me this afternoon as my post-surgery pain med addled brain didn't connect the first name on the note with her username. She sent me 4 pieces of purple fabric, 2 cats, 2 bags of treats for my actual cat and a bag of peanut butter trees for me, a little rainbow unicorn coin purse, a Christmas charm pack and a pattern. Thanks so much for this lovely package!

My Secret Santa was b.zang. I told my husband to open my box and send me pictures. I couldn't stand to wait any longer. The pictures are not as clear as I would like them to have been (we have cheap cell phones) but I can tell I have some amazing treasures!! I have all sorts of fabric with Canadian themes! Wahoo! Exactly what makes me happy -- things I can't find here. Tons of candy scattered all over the picture. Lots of small wrapped presents and notes that are unreadable in the picture. The picture of the just opened box revealed something with binding.... Mug rug? The spread out shot has it neatly folded so I can't tell yet. A bag of nuts (or a nutty snack...) Yum either way! I love the continuing mystery! I hope to be home this weekend so I can see what's under all that wrapping paper and read all the messages. THANK YOU, b.zang! This has been such a fun experience and it is great to get to know you.
And a special thanks to Hav2boys for hosting. This was a lovely way to get jolly despite having to work all the way to Christmas. It is hard to believe it Christmas is almost here. I haven't had time to put up a tree. Christmas blessings to all of you. It sounds like we all can use a little bit of extra cheer. This project was perfect and everyone worked so hard to get those surprises there for everyone.
If I can figure out how to download the pictures from my phone, I'll post the pictures that my husband sent me. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until I get home with my camera that I know how to do my downloads from.

Thank you so much RoseIrish for being my Secret Santa. It was so fun to open the wrapped presents and enjoy the variety of goodies. My dog helped me.
There were so many goodies but the highlights were the presents were wrapped and it took me back to joyous opening of presents when they were always wrapped. Then I received some lovely Tilda FQ to add to my hand pieced quilt project. Also fun fabrics were Alison glass and Tula Pink charm squares that will brighten any quilt. Let’s not forget all the tools needed to make those pretty fabrics sing: needles, needle threader, holders for said needles, notepads, ironing board covers etc.
May this season be bright for everyone. I am volunteering this week and hope to be part of the cheer.

Hi Guys,
I am so sorry to be late, but I thought opening day was the 8th and we were out all day.... so I couldn't open until the 9th. I received a wonderful swap from Maxie (Armylady2012). She is so thoughtful and generous. She sent loads of stuff... lots of fabric from designers I really like and find difficult to get here, Jelly Beans - which I love even though they can stick in my teeth, a fab mug, a Shiloh Quilting Guild Cup and straw, a box for charm packs which will be really useful, some lovely handmade items.... two embroidered mug rugs, a zippered pouch and some very useful heat resistant pot holders, but the cherry on top was my most wanted item.... a 9.5" trim it ruler by Lori Holt.... which I just could not find over here (I bought the smaller ones that I could find here but you can't get the larger ones).
Maxie, as always you really did spoil me... and I must have been a very good girl all year to get such a wonderful gift.
Hugs
Caroline

I was out of town on Sunday and so I opened my package Secret Santa package yesterday. What a nice one it was! Brenda was my November pal and my Secret Santa.
As Secret Santa she sent me some grunge fabric, some small pieces for my collage projects and a very pretty magnolia fabric kit to make placemats!! She also included a magazine with an interesting article on string quilts - which I'm curious to read. There were also some a small cutting matt, pen, charm square pack and some yummy snacks! I also thought it was quite creative to include the tape ...so I can tape up all my secret pal packages each month.
Thank you Brenda for being a great Secret Santa!
Merry Christmas to all....
