Progress is being made. Finished Clue 1. Have 1/2 of clue 2 complete. The other half cut and ready to sew, iron, and cut to size. Clue 3 is half sewn and ironed - ready to trim, the other half cut and ready to sew. I used Bonnie's preferred method to cut and sew so far - although I oversized by at least an 1/8 of an inch (sometimes more) and then trimmed down to size. I'm trying to make additional units to make the quilt a little bigger than BH's designated size.

Not sure I understand, JeanieG. Why would you need to trim your triangles if you've just cut them? I do use my Wing Clipper to measure finished geese, even though I don't use the cut down method to construct them.
So sorry, NZquilter! I've had a cold for which I've been taking Mucinex, and am cycling in an out of dizziness and extreme drowsiness. I found a nice neutral/red combo for clue 3, which I have cut; I left clue 2 unfinished, and plan to move on to clue 4 when it comes out, regardless of whether I'm caught up or not.

I did get my Clue 3 hourglasses pressed and trimmed yesterday at group and made a dent in pressing my pile of Clue 2 4-patches. My ride was not feeling well so we left a little early and I have more to press today. Will have to do a current count, I think I am about 2/3rds sewn or at least cut. But hey, I'm done with Clue 3 even if 2 is a work in progress. I'm feeling pretty good about my progress and with the next clue coming Friday.
So here's a look at my "brick and cream" otherwise known as Bonnie's red and neutral. The brick is sort of a nod to my new midwest life, a lot more brick here than I'm used to. My house in Seattle was 1963, and probably made with old growth, wood they had a lot and the houses were all pretty much wood and wood trim and more wood inside. This neighborhood is 1965 and is largely brick.

I have gotten very little done this week --- a handful of QSTs. Here are the fabrics I chose for those, and a few of the 4-patches I made last week (about 50 of those done).
Forgot to ask -- are you guys pressing open as Bonnie suggested, or spinning the QST final seam?
