Good morning, Stars! Just under a week until we close the swap. As in the past, if we don’t get enough people to make 19 sets, we’ll get a few duplicates in our packets. I’ll start working on the gallery so it’ll be ready for your pix. That’s when the swap starts coming alive for me, when the fabric pix start being posted. When you’ve decided on your fabric, please post pix here and I’ll start grabbing them. Reminder to keep your fabric and block pix to under 200 kb. It saves me a lot of time if I don’t have to shrink them. Thanks in advance!

In a couple of days, our temps are going to dive into the low teens. That’ll be a good time to start quilting some UFOs and watching old movies.

Hope everyone is looking forward to something enjoyable this weekend. Have a good day.

Woops, forgot to take a photo of my fabrics. I will unpack a few just so y'all can see the direction I am going. Will snap a photo tomorrow in natural light.

TG you photo is gorgeous but I bet it doesn't capture nearly all the beauty that you saw.

I bought 2 fabrics because I couldn’t decide. I could go for two if you end up with 19. I just need to read up on posting pictures!

Best wishes for your individual surgeries, SBG and Janice!

I had my wisdom teeth pulled two days ago and I am still in a lot of discomfort. Better than them rotting away half buried under my gums though! Nasty!

Hav4boys, was it you who sent in a tie-dye fabric and requested black only with it a few years ago? I loved those blocks so I'm thinking of doing the same, if you don't mind? No copyright? 😁 I did some swirl tie-dyeing and some straight tie-dyeing. I think they'll look okay cut up into blocks. This picture is of it in 1 yard cuts, not subcut down to F8th.

Beautiful tie dye fabric NZ, that's going to be so much fun to make blocks with!

TG, hope you were the winner of the $114 million dollar lottery winner from AZ!

Love the tie-dyed. Will be fun

Cheese- I don’t gamble and the thought of that much money scares me. I know who my friends are now when I have just enough to support my fabric addiction

Wow, your tie-dyed pieces are great, NZ. Can't wait to make a block out of it.

Well, our low temps are due to hit Monday and Tuesday. We are supposed to get snow, too. And then yesterday our TV finally hit the dust. Gotta go find another one today, as I'm sure we will be indoors for a few days in the snow. As Pooh would say, "Oh bother!" We have the firewood cut and stacked on the front porch, and another pile of kindling is ready to start fires. If we lose our power, at least we won't freeze!

Gotta get my fabrics chosen for this swap! I want to do two smaller quilts, so I'll be looking for two pieces to send.

NZ, forgot to say how sorry I am about your wisdom teeth surgery. I know how painful that can be. On the bright side, you will never have to worry about them again. I had one of mine removed a few years ago and it was such an ordeal that I don't think I can do it again with the other three. Great you got yours over with in one shot. Hope you can rest and recover quickly.
