Enjoy your night at the cabin, Janice. A fire is on the slate for tonight here, too.

What pretty hummingbirds, LC. I can't wait to play with that one, along with it's sidekick fabrics. I took a quick look at my fabrics and yup, I still have plenty to choose from! Too much, in fact.

Today I was listing the quilts I took out of my daughter's shop, putting them up on Etsy. It was an all day job, and I'm still not done. When 5 pm came, i got the usual email from the shop, telling me something had sold. Hooray! It was a quilt! So this was quilt day, for sure.

My nice hot pot of Red Beans and Rice is ready to eat. Should hold us right through the cold weather!

Woozers! So much chatter and so many photos. Let's see, NZ Glad the teeth are out and you are up to prepping your BOOM packages. The end result of your tie dye blocks will be fun for the eyes.

Cardinals will be fun. I have been hearing the cardinals calling in the brush near my marsh. Looking for territory and that one special mate.

A warm cozy fire in the fireplace is on of my favorite comfort things. A little bet jealous, but I have the hot cocoa and warm kitty to fill in the missing ambiance of the fireplace.

Humming birds look like fun with so many nice choices of complimentary colors.

I am sure I missed something but, there is always tomorrow.

I had Christmas with my son today. He and DIIL were in Florida in December, so we celebrated today. Dinner out, presents and now time for the Lions game. I am now the proud owner of a smoothie maker and a new membership to Audible. Yea! Just one more Christmas with my grands.

Hoping to drop in on them tomorrow and call it good enough. They always seem too busy to do the dinner, cookies, tree, surprises and celebration.

Cold weather is coming to the mitten too. Snow for four days with three temps under 5 degrees. But not complaining, it is Michigan and winter. I was planning on a trip to Shipshewana on Monday, but I may change my plans if it is as cold as predicted. I will just hold up at home and work on UFOs. Maybe one of the Boom sets from last year.

This is my last fabric, Wilnnie the Pooh, for great grand baby to be

All the fabrics are gorgeous, Cardinals, hummingbirds, tie dyed and Halloween, this should be so fun.

We have charged up all our power stations, lanterns, flash lights and extra blankets. By Tuesday it will be 70 degrees colder than today. We have bags on order from Amazon and will be here tomorrow to protect the plants, all except for the Hibiscus. We still have to figure out something for it. Four years ago we were here in Texas when the power grid went down for a week in the freezing cold. Then we were in a trailer with little insulation but it had a gas stove and was a game changer for us. Now we are in a brick house but with an electric stove. We should buy a one burner propane camping stove to have on hand.

    Hope everyone stays warm

Congratulations on a sale on your Etsy shop so fast, SBG. I've toyed with the idea of starting an Etsy shop myself, mainly sewing nursing friendly clothing for moms, but I haven't done it yet. Mainly because I'm afraid of customers asking for custom orders and time lines.

I love the Pooh fabric. So much fun for us to play with.

    Nice fire, Janice.

The TV shopping did not happen today because someone thought they could still fix the old one. Bah Humbug!

Sitting here eating my yogurt combo for breakfast watching the birds. The tiny little juncos are huge this morning. Must be cold outside. Good entertainment for ZuZu. She is chattering and doing the tail flap thing. "Mom, birds are on the patio, get them off."

All of the fabric postings are lovely. Such variety.
