If I can combine 2 sets into a single envelope, I will return the overage. I do ship at commercial rates and pay a little less than the standard USPS rates.

All rules posted in the original sign-up thread still apply. Please refer to it as needed. Please remember to keep in touch at least weekly! That’s the most important aspect of the swap. It's helpful to subscribe to the thread.

Have you found us yet???

Anyone else have pix of their F8s to add? Please put them here. I've already added the ones from the old thread to the Gallery.

Reminder to please shrink pix of fabric and blocks to 100-200 kb or so. Too small and they are blurry, too large and they sometimes won't post here and I'll have to shrink them myself before I move them to the gallery. Thank you!!!

Woo hoo! Found us!

I’m trying to smile when I think of Libster and all the beautiful blocks she made. It’s not easy but as we move forward, I think it will get easier.

Emails to go out tomorrow morning.

Found the new thread and will book mark ASAP. I celebrated Christmas this evening with my daughter, SIL and three grands. We had Christmas breakfast for supper and of course presents. I now have a charming little bird house to put out near my patio. I suspect it will be strictly decorative since I can't get it near the marshland area! I am happy to keep the marsh safe and not intrude on the sanctity of this special protected area.

Logcabin, I have a quilting friend who is learning how to use the technique you mentioned. She is one who is willing to try everything once. Therefore we are taking a drop spindle class next weekend and a wool felting class later the same day. Keep posting your progress, I would love to see the difference between the new and the common/traditional technique.

Such lovely fabric everyone is choosing. I already have a patterns in mind for some of them. Anxious to get started but In the mean time, I am working on 2.5" squares quilts that are UFOs from who knows when. Need to get them "out the door".

Mariposa, thanks for joining! It’ll be good to have some new blood and ideas in the swap! More people makes it more exciting.

LogCabin, I used to do Tunisian but it’s been so long - I can hardly remember it! As I recall it was quite fun.

GramE, please check your email and confirm correct email address. Thanks!

Found! And it’s been a very long time to be 20!!
Like your new fabric Janice. Looks like a Libster print!
And GramE that fabric will be awesome with each block being a specific color.
