Beautiful blocks Janice. That green is amazing in each one.

GramE - be careful with that cough.

Teriamn - reminds me of my DH who handed me my sewing scissorS and stating he sharpened them all for me. After a demonstration of scissors cutting paper vs fabric , I had do purchase all new scissorS 🤭

Terri, you are cracking us up again!

GramE, hope you feel up to snuff again soon. I second the drinking of fluids!

Very pretty blocks, Janice! The Mardi Gras block is fun and the colors in Hav's block look so soft and pretty. How exciting to be receiving our F8s in just a few days! Cant wait to see them.

Not so good morning. I woke up with a sore throat and it’s painful to swallow and talk. What fresh “heck” is this? Good thing I have an appointment with the doc for later today. Guess who’ll be masking up for the first time in years. I’m just hoping I haven’t given it to DH already.

The packages are almost ready. I worked on getting those who are playing with two sets into a single package and succeeded. (More money for fabric!). Now to finish up the rest and they’ll be off tomorrow. I think this may be one of the most colorful sets of fabrics we’ve had. It’s been a pleasure working with them.

Terriamn, so funny. Guess that iron is finished.

Ernie just ran for the door to be let out. When he came back in he strutted to the bedroom to go back to bed. I think I’ll follow his example.

Have a good day!

Follow the lead of a smart dog. Back to bed to rest with a mug of something warm and a morning nap. Sorting our little packages can wait for later. I am ready to take on the last steps of my Boom quilt this morning. A fresh brain make the path to a finish more clear.

Take care of yourself, Janice.

Janice, love the block you made for me, thank you! Hope your sore throat heals quickly, I am always "down for the count" with a sore throat, just can't deal with it.

Oh my Terri, yep I agree, iron shopping is definitely in your future!

Been cleaning closets for the past week, will be making a trip to the thrift store today to donate.

I love my basic Walmart iron. It heats up hot and if/when it dies, no harm to the pocketbook. And speaking of fabric scissors too, I need to get myself a new pair after the help I got during the Christmas wrapping season! You can imagine how that went. I know there is a joke out there about padlocking fabric scissors closed, but I actually think I might do that! Lol!

Janice and GramE, rest up and take it easy! These winter flus are miserable. Everyone in my family has it to one degree or the other. I am feeling utterly exhausted and my sinuses hurt, so I'm probably coming down with it now too. Cabin fever and now the flu... rotten combo! I can't wait for spring!

Gee’s Louise, sorry to hear Janice, GramE and NZ that you are all under the weather. Please take good care of yourselves.

Going to be a hot one here today, think it will be the hottest it’s been since we have been here this year.

Heading out to the patio sale in one of the parks. What I should be doing is going through my closets like Cheesehead.

Janice love your two blocks, one bright and cheery and the other soft and romantic

Finished up this one for Michelle-quilts. It’s a Corner Star from the Around the Block Again book. Hope this is what you are looking for. Fun fabrics!
