Love the packages arriving!

Reminder that everyone in 2 groups will have one fabric in each set of your own. This is normal and is the easiest way for me to sort out your packages without causing a good deal of confusion on my part.

Who is going to post the first new block???

Beautiful block for Mariposa, Janice, and that's a hard one to make too. Mariposa's fabric was well chosen!

No package for me today, but I really didn't think there would be. I expect it to be here tomorrow or Wednesday.
Get ready for the Block Onslaught to begin! I love this time in the swap!

How nice of you to help with the funeral luncheon, WMUT. Glad you were blessed by the conversations.

I'm going in for the nerve test tomorrow FINALLY. It's been rescheduled twice and then I asked for a referral to another dr. Not looking forward to it. If it feels like touching an electric fence, it will be terrible! Gotta get this first tho, before they will do anything about my weird numb hand.

Enjoy your evenings!!!

Sewbiz good luck on the test tomorrow.

Janice your block for Mariposa is gorgeous.

I finished the quilt op for the Missions today. Will be happy to hand it over and not going to let my sister or anyone else try and talk to me to make more. I told my sister I would bring some squares home with me to Minnesota to make the blocks in my SPARE time.

Can’t wait for my package to arrive.

Lo and behold!, I checked the tracking number for my package and it said it is at my front door! What a great surprise!
I will be happily seeing what fun fabrics I get to play with tomorrow. 😃

Good morning, Stars. I’ve only got three blocks to make and one to remake. All that worry of not being done before surgery! What can I do but laugh?

I'm amazed so many packages have arrived already in less than 48 hours, a couple clear across the country no less. Go USPS!

Enjoy your F8s.

Mine says it will be here by 9 PM sure hope so.

After quilting this afternoon hubby wants to go to the pool so guess my sewing room won’t get all picked up till this evening. But then everything will be ready to start the boom

You should see my sewing room, Terriamn. What a mess from pulling fabrics and putting them haphazardly away in a pile. Oh, dear. I’m not even going to try to straighten up until I finish. Working on NZQ’s block. Loving the tie dye.

Oh, I have a little vertigo, probably from the ear congestion. Makes it a challenge as I move around. Sheesh. Wonder how long this will last.

My package arrived safely - looks like a lot of pretty fabric to play with. I also like that there are quite a few "requests". Makes it a bit more challenging, but that makes it more fun for me. I put together the blocks for 3 D9P this morning, and have one more to go and then I'm done with them until I start quilting. I used up a lot of charm squares, all of the I-Spy 5" blocks, and a bunch of the 3.5" squares I cut. I'm striving for a "year of the tote" and focusing on emptying some of them out.

Talking I blame all of you....

.....for my sleepy eyed look this morning. My package of 19 F8s arrived yesterday. Of course I had to open it up and take a look as soon as I brought it in. Then I went about my other business for the evening. At bedtime, I did my usual routine...after reading a bit I was ready to go off to Zzzzz town. But nooooooo, my brain was not ready for that. Thoughts like the following just kept coming...
  • Hmmm... that gold colored fabric from a project a couple of years ago might be just the right shade to go with the Mardi Gras fabric.
  • Was there some yellow in that Winnie the Pooh fabric? Is yellow gender neutral? It's my favorite colors so I'd love to be able to use it...
  • Now where did I put those Valentine fat quarters...in the tote under the bed or are they in the closet?
So, because you are all such a friendly, helpful and inviting group of quilters, I tossed and turned a bit last night. This does happen sometimes, but usually I'm thinking about work projects. I must say it was much more fun thinking about fabric.
