Oh, wow, Cheese! It’s gorgeous! Love all those brights and bolds with the black background. Is it for you or someone special?

It's raining buckets here! Rained all day and night yesterday and again today until this evening. Duck country, for sure!

Lstew, how wonderful your Mom is coming home today.
Cheese, the exploding heart is beautiful! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Love the cardinal block, Janice!
Terri, I go in tomorrow to have my dr.'s NP explain my test results and tell me what's next.
I'm excited for all those receiving their F8s today! Let the creativity begin!

19 precious packets of fabric! I can’t wait. But time for a nap before I make some soup.

Happy to say I’m all done. I don’t think I’ll ever push like this again but I now know I can definitely do two sets in the 3 month time frame.

Terriamn, here’s my floral block for you. I loved making this one with all the yummy colors. I hope you like it! It’s my favorite. Your other block, the blue nursery fabric which I’ve not yet posted, need to be reworked. I’m just not happy with it. I’ll see what I can do.

It’s pouring rain here and it’s expected to continue overnight. I’m ready for a little sun but there’s not much chance of that until next week. Good time to clean the Juki then start some quilting that needs attention. I’m burned out on piecing.

Later!

Done? Wow, that was quick! I'm hoping I won't end up stuck with arm surgery in the middle of a boom. LOVE your floral block for Terri, Janice. Love all those colors and the gorgeous star pattern.

I was browsing books at JoAnns yesterday and saw a new block book. The layout was great and looked easy to follow. But I didn't buy it and now I'm wishing I had. Can't remember the name of the book or the author (should have written it down or taken a photo) but when I go back to the dr. tomorrow I'll swing by and see if it's still there.

Cheesehead - I have admired the exploding star quilts but seeing yours on black really is pushing me to attempt one.
Janice your floral block is unreal - I can’t recall seeing it before. Colors are perfect. And the bar goes higher
Send done rain to AZ. We are praying for some as we are having forest fires with high winds.

I am in my happy space and taking a munch break
