Good morning! I've got a full day ahead of me with the grands coming over. I'm fortifying myself with a coffee now while I grab your latest blocks. Lstew, what a pretty selection you made and I thank you for the fine block you made for me! I love how my blocks are looking together.

I'm off!

Up and ready for my day working on the chemo quilt and...... making a boom block. I snuggled up with my package of little baggies last evening and started dreaming of what fabric and what block pattern for each. I know which one I will take on first.

Have a marvelous day everyone. I hope to emerge from my sewing before it gets dark with some finishes. Tee-Hee-Hee!

All the blocks being posted are fabulous great job all.

Cheesehead thanks for my block, love it

WMUT have a great day sewing, hoping to do the same

Horribly miserable weather here, rainy and cold 37 degrees with align of 46 expected. Much better weather than a lot of you are experiencing but terrible for this far south. Great day to stay inside

Janice enjoy the grands and family

Update on my mother, she has graduated to using a cane and she is moving around great. I am so proud of her and I thank God everyday as this could have been much worse.

WMU, so glad you got your package, my heart is smiling.

I was perusing the gallery and the blocks made so far are stunning. I am always in awe of the talent in this group and so glad I can be a part of such a wonderful group of people. By far my favorite swap.

I am off to the library; my husband wants to get a library card. We started going to the gym and I was telling him about me listening to my eBooks while on the machines. I borrow them from Libby. He said this was something he was interested in while exercising. Then to the grocery store for meal prep supplies and last stop at the gym before coming home. Then I hope I can spend some time making blocks. I have 8 more in the first set.

LStew - this is the first time that I am doing two sets. I put all together and basically working on one person at a time. You like to do each set separately? How have others done duplicates? Inquiring mind

This is the second for Janice. Paper Piecing went together much easier for me and I like the star. This will be a great quilt for you!

WMUTeach - enjoy the moment!!

A quiet moment before the grands arrive.

TG, I’ve only done two groups once or twice. I like to do one group at a time. Run through all the F8s in one set then start on the second. It’s not set in stone though. Who knows what I’ll do in boom 34. (Just thinking ahead!). And I absolutely love your star block. Beautifully done! Thank you!

Good morning (just barely), woke up in PAIN and my hand is swelled up like a balloon. Looks like this will be another day on the couch with the ice packs.

LC, that's a great undersea I Spy block! Lots of sea creatures to find...

TG, lovely pp star block for Janice. I haven't seen that block before.

I usually do two sets in these swaps, and I keep them separate. I do one complete set and put them all back in the big bag before breaking out the second set. Just a habit from when we did two separately named groups. I don't guess it matters, as long as you get the right number of blocks back to Janice.

Back to the ice...
