Good morning, Stars! I just finished catching up on all the group chatter over my morning coffee. Yesterday I had a frightful migraine, throwing up sick with it, so I had a no screen day. But I'm doing better today.

SBG, I'm glad your surgery went well and you can even sew a bit. Keep the ice handy!

Terri, I'm sorry to hear of your daughter's MIL's sudden passing. It can be a real shock for everyone close to her. Sending hugs!

I made one block on Saturday for Mariposa, called "Whoopsy Daisy". I hope you like it.

Thanks SusieQ! I am having a blast with this swap. I'm honing my piecing skills and learning the ins and outs of my new machine too. In fact, I've already started thinking about what fabric I want to send for the next swap.. LOL

Terri- firstly, I'm sorry about your daughter's MIL. Must have been an awful shock to the family.
About the fabrics, both of them said there were another piece but there weren't any. No worries.

Beautiful daisy block NZ, so glad you are feeling better today.
Michelle, happy that you are enjoying this swap, you are a true Boomer if you are already thinking about your next fabric when this swap hasn't ended yet!
Janice that's a beautiful quilt, love everything about it.

This block is for Janice and it was inspired by Libster. This was a block she made from her last couple of Booms and she even had it for her avatar at one time.

Cheesehead beautiful block for Janice

Janice love your block for yourself. All those points!

NZ super fun block for Mariposa, have never seen it before

Michelle I make mostly 12”” blocks, feel I have more than gotten my money’s worth out of the 2 loc block rulers I use for my 6” and 3” flying geese rulers. They make great birthday and Christmas gifts.

Hi Boomers, I also have the Bloc Loc rulers and they are money well spent. I'm not much for specialty rulers but they are in use a lot in my sewing room. I have the flying geese and the HST's and love them.

Thanks for the feedback on the Bloc Loc rulers. As Terriamn mentioned, making mostly 12 inch blocks, the 6 inch and 3 inch rulers probably would come in quite handy. I'll have to rethink my budget for trying a new tool

Loving these new blocks! I wish I didn't make mine all up so fast.

Janice, sorry you had to deal with a sick Ernie at 3am. Hope you can get in a nap. Glad Ernie has perked up too.

Ernie is well but I'm done in. I'm about to head in for a late nap as soon as I add the last pix into the gallery. Beautiful block for me, Cheesehead, as well as the one for SusieQ. NZQ, such a pretty block for Mariposa as well!
