Here are my blocks from yesterday and today.

Two for Lstew 2212, one for Terriamn, and one for LogCabin 82. Trying to catch up with the rabbits. Tee-Hee-Hee!

Lstew I had to piece the final strip on the cardinals, Hope it blend in well enough, Terriamn, although the photo reads white the light frame is cream. Fun juggling fabric to make sure the prints all goes the correct direction with the cardinals an the sweet little baby critters. A good skill for me to work on. Enjoy all!

Great blocks posted so far. Janice, your quilt will be stunning with the two colors. Great block. Mariposa's block is great too.

If the blocks don’t measure up, please fix them. Second, please watch your stitch length. Please use short stitches as a couple of the blocks I’ve been working on are pulling apart at the seams. I know it makes it harder to unstitch when you make a mistake but watch those long stitches lengths. Three, look for selvages and be sure you cut them off from your companion fabrics. And lastly, watch your seam allowances. Very small seam allowances will pull apart during quilting or in the wash.

Thanks everyone!
Thank you for the reminder. I try very hard to get everything right.

LC- I apologize for not using the small square you sent. I inadvertently cut into it and couldn't use it. Grrrr

Hi everyone!
I'm really enjoying the blocks you are making. Lovely blocks today, LC, SusieQ, WMUT... so many pretties! Cheese, the black Cat's Cradle against NZ's tie dye is stunning.
GramE, really hoping the implant helps with your pain.
Terri, how lucky can you get, receiving an almost all made Sugar and Cream quilt! And it's so nice that your friends will be joining you soon.
I'm plugging away on another Burgoyne Surrounded block. Those have 97 pieces each! (But they are 15"). I've started to figure out some shortcuts in construction, like making all the 9 patches at the same time, and the 4 patches. The center is also a 9 patch. Once those are done, it's a breeze.
We were going to go out of town this weekend, but got a message from my daughter that they want to stop over here for about a day on their way to Florida for a vacation. So now we are in mad dash 'get the house ready for company' mode. My youngest gk has never been to our house. They will love our woods in this nice weather!

Good evening. It's been a busy couple of days. We had workers here finally doing cleanup from Hurricane Helene. What a mess we had in and around the creek and it was low priority until folks with more need got service first. Happily it was our turn and the place looks much better.

Also spent time putting 12 Boom 30 blocks together. Another top done but I've still got some more blocks to make for a second quilt.

GramE, I hope the procedure really helps your chronic pain. I also had to google it as I had no idea such a procedure existed.

Michelle-quilts, I believe the most number of pieces I've ever worked with in a single block is nearly 60. That's more than I plan to use again. Oddly enough, it's the block I made for you!

Beautiful blocks, everyone. I'm off to update the gallery.
