HAV thank you for the beautiful block, love your color choices

Macbaby thank you for my blocks each one is gorgeous especially with all the fussy cutting on the Winnie block

Going to be hotter then blazes today 97 degrees and we will be working in the kitchen this afternoon for the fish fry. We have one more next week and we will be done for the season.

It will be extremely hard leaving this year because of the wonderful Canadian folks we have become friends with the last 4 years. No one knows if they will be welcomed back or if they will want to come back again. So sad

Oh Janice, you will have the time of your life! Well maybe not on the first try, but the issues will work themselves out as they grow. The overnighters as we called them contained very little sleep and lots of laughing. 5 or 6 grandsons, my granddaughters thought the boys were gross! The most frequently redone photo we have is all the overnighter boys piled on a couch. A variety of breakfast food is good. I could never get 100% participation on everyone having the same breakfast. And it usually took a couple of days before order was restored. This pic was our first overnight in 2006. Seems like yesterday.

I’m feeling pretty good, lots of pain relief but it’s not going quietly. Thank you all for your prayers. I could never have imagined the amount of relief that I am getting. Have these trial leads taken out Wednesday and they will schedule the inside my body unit placement then. She thought it would take 2 weeks. 2 weeks with no relief.

Terri, I hope your friends can separate themselves from the politics.

Figured I better get caught up with posting finished blocks. I'm having so much fun with these! The recipient name is at the top of each photo.
Macy- the teddy bear block is over the top! Amazing four patch interlocking. I am in awe - bowing to you!

Yes TG. There are 2 AirForce, 1 CoastGuard and one Navy. The 5th one with his finger in his nose is an influencer. I’m not sure I even know what that is but he didn’t have to go to boot camp to do it! And I have another who just joined the Army. And the last two, one is a police detective and the eighth and final grandson works for the sheriff at the jail. I told Eli if a military recruiter tried to talk with him, tell him you must remain silent until your GramE gets there! I’ve given 6 grandsons to the military and I’m proud of them all, but I’m giving the baby a pass!
